Products: REMORA S2T, designed and manufactured a national product called RÉMORA, which consists of real-time monitoring of the status of sensors located inside the warehouses of sensitive material. This solution provides greater security in the current status of each storage warehouse, incorporating technology in the encryption of communications of this data. It allows the person in charge of these facilities to activate an emergency protocol depending on the active alarm. SIG SMART TOUCH is a digital system based on geo-referenced technology, which provides fast, timely and accurate tactical or training decisions. Thus, S2T developed a technology platform that combines the simplicity of handling and the scope of multiple sources of information associated with maps and aerial or satellite images converging into a single source of information. ELECTRONICS LABORATORY S2T has designed and implemented an advanced electronics laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This laboratory stands out for its capacity to carry out diverse activities, ranging from diagnostics and repair, design, manufacture and integration of electronic boards and equipment, as well as the manufacture of cables and electrical harnesses, and reverse engineering. S2T’s electronics and sensorisation laboratory stands out for its extensive capabilities in the development and manufacture of electronic equipment. From the initial phases of design and simulation, to the culmination with the manufacture and implementation, specialising in the creation of independent systems and subsystems of electronic equipment. The state-of-the-art equipment present in these facilities consolidates its role as a fundamental resource in the field of maintenance and development of electronic solutions, sensorisation and simulation. In this way, the laboratory becomes an integral part of the solutions that S2T offers, guaranteeing a complete and efficient approach to the management of electronic and technological projects. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT The ERP Support and Development area at S2T is in charge of analysing, developing, integrating and executing projects of different kinds that have some kind of relationship with ERP systems (specifically Oracle products) or other types of systems. This area has implemented different projects, standing out initially with the implementation of the ERP for FAMAE and the Chilean Army, in which different modules were configured based on Oracle EBS R12 systems, allowing the integration of different operations in these companies, especially to manage all logistical, financial and economic information, centralising data in accounting through different management modules. Complementing the above, the team is also in charge of the support and maintenance of the entire IT platform that supports both business systems, in addition to providing technical-functional support for problems and incidents reported by the operators of both ERPs. Other development projects have also been carried out with Oracle’s Apex (Application Express) tool, notably the ‘Sistema Vigía’ for the Chilean Army. This development supports decision-making by the high command of this institution, by means of a scorecard and management indicators that are obtained directly from the SIGLE system database. In addition to this, one of the few systems offered in the market that automates the process of the Monetary Correction was built to support the finance area of FAMAE. Also in this client was developed a reporting module, where information is sent to senior management of purchases made, in addition to sending emails to suppliers with reminders of products purchased pending delivery. On the other hand, the Chilean Army’s Institutional Warehouse Automation Project (ADI) incorporates Oracle eBS (e-Business Suite) R12 inventory transaction capture technology, directly from the Plant Floor or Distribution Centre, through PDA mobile devices, with an application designed for Android devices, via secure wireless connectivity. These generated movements have a direct interface with the Oracle eBS Inventory module, thus avoiding human error by capturing, displaying and transferring the transactions captured in the warehouse directly to the ERP, without operator intervention. It is important to mention that this development provides several functions, such as stock consultation, transfer between warehouses and transfer between different distribution centres, among others.
