It was four intense days of hard work, but also of reunion, conversation, and collective aspirations. A delegation from Expomin traveled to Antofagasta to participate in Exponor, in an event that reflected the promising moment of the industry and the positive prospects generated by the most important mining meeting in Latin America, which will take place in April 2025 once again at Espacio Riesco.

“We had a great opportunity to consolidate Expomin, to meet with our long-time clients and to reconnect with an industry that is full of challenges. Obviously, we discussed the major challenges we face and are working full steam ahead to exceed expectations,” says María de los Ángeles Troncoso, commercial manager of the exhibition to be held from April 22 to 25.

During the event, the Expomin team held a series of meetings with long-standing suppliers, former collaborators, and mining guilds, as well as well-known industry representatives.

“Commercially we were also very successful. Expomin is consolidated and the public expressed their interest in participating, which materialized in space reservations and stand quotations. We are very clear about what we must do in the future, with a sustainable fair where innovation plays a very important role”, adds Expomin’s commercial manager.

Since its commercial phase began in January, Expomin has 60% of its exhibition areas already committed and continues to close agreements for various spaces. Thus, Pavilion One is 90% committed, while Pavilion Two exceeds 70%.

In recent editions, Expomin has averaged over 60,000 visitors, 1,200 exhibitors, 6,000 foreign delegates, and participants from more than 30 countries per edition. “Without a doubt, our exhibitors are the ones who make mining a better industry,” concludes the Expomin executive.
