UHMW-PE segments isolate impact energy and protect 100% of the belt from cut damage. The Dust Containment System consists of a redesign of the entire box, containing the fine dust thanks to the hermetic design, control of the kinetic energy of the air, high durability of the wear elements and maintainability of its components. This system achieves a sealing efficiency between 70% and 90%. The Self-Adjusting Pneumatic Scrapers are unique equipment in the market, achieving optimum cleaning quality throughout the life of the blades. Its operating principle allows pressure adjustments to be made while the belt is moving, without risk to the user. The continuous blade design and negative angle ensure a balance of cleaning and belt care. The Proactive Return Aligner is an equipment that prevents misalignment, correcting any tendency of the belt to misalign. Using the principle of action and reaction, it takes advantage of the difference in forces to center the belt and maintain static balance. It consists of a set of rollers arranged in an arc, easy to replace and with a long service life. It does not use pivots or locking mechanisms. Wear Liners have high wear resistance and can achieve a service life of about 17 times longer than traditional liners. Guards and Clamps are designed to contain the conveyed material and seal. They have high durability and offer the lowest MTTR in the market. Sealing Bars are equipment that are part of the Dust Containment System and are designed to eliminate the catenary buckling that occurs in the belt between the guide box loading idlers. In this way, efficient sealing is achieved. High quality pulley laggings are available for any pulley and are recommended depending on the application. Available in rubber and with ceramic inserts. Chute Design involves complex work, from a 3D scan of the actual condition and design to the fabrication of anti-clog chutes, with high life wear liners. Richwood has the capability to design the entire transfer zones of a conveyor.
