Expectations for the Chilean mining market are high and show good investment demands. By 2050, for example, the country’s government has set the goal of increasing its annual copper production to 9 Mt, maintaining its status as the world’s largest producer of the metal. All this movement will require investments – estimated by experts in the segment at almost US$ 400 billion – more technology and sustainable commitments. Currently, investments in technology in mining have, among their priorities, the improvement of cost control processes and the search for greater operational efficiency. In addition, drones and remote monitoring solutions are one of the main trends in the sector to generate more security for companies and optimize activities in areas that are difficult to access. Given this scenario of growth and technological advances, from April 24 to 27, the largest mining fair in Latin America – Expomin, will be held in Santiago (Chile). green4T, a leading company in technology solutions and digital infrastructure, will be at the event and will present its products and services that contribute to accelerate the digital transformation of the sector. “These innovations in the segment demand an IT infrastructure that can efficiently and securely support data processing in the area.
