The company Flesan Minería will participate in the next Expomin 2023, where it will be presenting its expert services in dismantling, demolition through controlled blasting, mechanical blasting, wire and diamond disc cutting, civil works, industrial assemblies and geotechnical engineering. The company is a pioneer in managing the country’s decarbonization plan, executing the dismantling of the first five thermal power plants in Tocopilla (Antofagasta), being this the first concrete action in Chile to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, according to the UN requirement for OECD member states. Along with its tradition in quality, being the leader in demolition for more than 40 years, its innovative methodologies in the market stand out, such as the computerized modeling process (BIM) of mechanical tipping with fall design engineering, or the use of shears suspended on a telescopic crane to demolish at a height of 80 meters. Its trinorm certification (Bureau Veritas), with scope in civil works, earthmoving, closure plans for mining, dismantling and demolition, guarantees optimal standards in terms of safety, quality and environment. In fact, they recently obtained the Huella Chile certification, the Carbon Management Program promoted by the Ministry of the Environment. Thus, the company will be sharing at Expomin all its experience, which in recent years has allowed it to develop successful projects with the most important players in the mining industry, such as Anglo American, Codelco, BHP, Engie, among others, in locations such as Los Andes, Tocopilla, Antofagasta, Atacama, and more. Flesan Minería is part of Grupo Flesan, a company that covers from the design and acquisition of the land, through demolition and excavation, to construction and after-sales. It also has professional experts in areas such as permitting, geotechnical engineering, BIM methodology, among others, to provide the optimal solution to each challenge.
