The Antofagasta Industrial Association, AIA, has been working for 78 years to ensure regional progress and development; today, thanks to a strong alliance with the industry and constant work with the community, it has managed to contribute to the progress of the country, with initiatives and programs that promote the strengthening of the productive chain, social value and improving the competitiveness of companies and human capital, in short, the sustainability of the region and Chile as a whole. Part of its work highlights SICEP, a pioneering initiative that has registered more than three thousand suppliers of goods and services that have been evaluated and qualified under industry standards, in addition to 30 mining companies and large industrial users of this information platform, which facilitates the competitiveness of supplying companies and promotes the growth of the local market, being the bridge for regional and national development. In parallel, AIA also organizes EXPONOR Chile, an international exhibition as a platform that strengthens the supply of national suppliers in the industry, making it possible to position our country in a privileged position in this area, in which EXPOMIN also stands out. The International Exhibition of Technologies and Innovations for the Mining and Energy Industry, EXPONOR, whose next version will be held from June 3 to 6, 2024, present in the 2023 edition of EXPOMIN, allows leveraging the positioning of Chile as a leading country in mining production, sharing common objectives that account for the need to have promotional spaces for the transfer of knowledge, experiences and, especially, the supply of technologies that contribute to innovation and increased productivity of mining processes. In the specific case of EXPONOR, this translates into eight opportunities: the international exhibition, technical delegations, business meetings, after-office networking, site visits, seminars, technical talks and innovation zooms.
