Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) is the international trade agency of the Queensland State Government, Australia, which supports Queensland companies in bringing their solutions, products and services to world markets, as well as promoting investment opportunities in the state of Queensland. This is done through a global network of 16 offices in 12 markets, including our Latin American office located in Santiago, Chile. In addition, we work with companies in Latin America to connect them with Queensland companies in order to represent or distribute their products or services. Queensland is the state of Australia that concentrates a great deal of mining activity in a variety of minerals such as Copper, Gold, Coal, Silver, Zinc, etc. There are world-class mining operations, both open pit and underground, and a developed industry of mining technology solutions providers, who export these innovative solutions worldwide, meeting the needs and challenges faced by different mining companies. For this version of Expomin 2023 we have more than 20 new companies interested in developing activities in the region and many others which are already operating in Latin America, so we expect you at our booth to meet them, in addition to the work of generating links between the needs and solutions that Trade & Investment Queensland performs free of charge for mining companies.
