The Superintendency of Social Security (SUSESO) recently warned that 28% of serious and fatal accidents at work are due to falls from heights, strongly affecting mining and construction.
Faced with this panorama, Ultracción has consolidated its position as a reference in theoretical-practical and high standard occupational safety training, a fundamental aspect in risk prevention. With more than three decades of experience, the company develops comprehensive solutions in this area, which will be presented by the company at Expomin 2025.
“We must understand the training of workers as a tool to safeguard lives. Our experience has allowed us to develop different innovations to ensure that our clients have safe and efficient work spaces,” says Ian Ulriksen, General Manager of Ultracción.

In addition, Ulriksen says, “Companies that have a real commitment to the safety and well-being of their workers understand that training goes beyond responding to a legal requirement. It is a fundamental pillar for involving the entire organization in complying with safety regulations”.
The company has a Mobile Training Unit, a unique resource in South America; a fully equipped truck for seven simultaneous on-site courses. This resource required an investment of US$200 thousand and is in the process of obtaining the Patent of Invention granted by INAPI.
From this, the General Manager of Ultracción highlights to be able to count on this resource, mentioning that “the Mobile Training Unit redefines the concept of on-site training, integrating functionality and versatility, since it allows to carry out the full range of theoretical and practical training in industrial safety”.
In addition, the company will participate in the panel “Emotional Wellbeing and Occupational Safety”, where it will address the role of training in the prevention of psychosocial and occupational risks. Representatives from BHP and Collahuasi will also participate in the event, which will be held on April 23 at 16:30.
Ultracción invites you to learn about its tailor-made solutions in occupational safety at stand EX-B22, where our visitors will be able to take part in open workshops on first aid and learn essential maneuvers to save lives.
