Expomin, together with a national delegation led by ProChile, will participate in the Annual Convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), an event that brings together more than 30,000 attendees from 135 countries. In this 2025 version, Chile will have a space of 57.7 square meters at stand No. 1349 in the South Building. Rodrigo Lobo, Institutional Relations and Business Development Manager of GL events Chile, referred to Expomin’s presence at PDAC. “Being at this event will allow us to connect with the most influential companies in the sector globally, bring them closer to Chile and show them why Expomin is the great mining business and technology platform in Latin America.” Since its creation in 1932, PDAC has established itself as the reference event for the mining industry, bringing together more than 1,100 exhibitors and 700 speakers. Its program includes educational activities, networking opportunities and business meetings, providing a space for the exchange of knowledge and the generation of new business opportunities. In 2023, mining activity in Canada contributed US$161 billion to its GDP, representing 21% of its total exports and generating employment for 694,000 people, including direct and indirect jobs. “Being able to position Expomin in Canada, in the most relevant mining event in the world, is a key step. Mining moves forward with strategic alliances, and this is the perfect space to strengthen them and invite the sector’s leaders to be part of Expomin,” Lobo concluded. Expomin 2025 will be the most important meeting in the region and will have more than 1,300 exhibitors and will bring together more than 70 thousand visitors. Don’t miss Expomin 2025!
