With more than 40% of the total area already committed, and 90% of its spaces sold in the so-called Hall 1 sector, Expomin continues to strengthen its commercial phase with the confirmation of several companies and the presence of several countries that will participate in the 2025 version to be held at Espacio Riesco, from 22 to 25 April.

With less than eleven months to go until the most important mining event in Latin America, a major international group has confirmed its interest in attending, while other representatives from various corners of the globe have already signed the respective contracts to secure a space at the exhibition.

Germany, Canada, the United States and China are the countries that have made their participation official, at the same time as the premiere of two pavilions was ratified for the first time: Turkey and a representation from Southeast Asia. All this, with the aim of expanding the internationalisation of Expomin and replicating the positive results that have been obtained in terms of numbers in the last versions, with an average of more than 60,000 visitors, 1,300 exhibitors, 6,000 foreign delegates, more than 30 participating countries and business generated by more than US$ 1.2 billion in each version.

We continue to work with great dedication at this stage and we are very happy for the support of the companies and an important group of countries. It has been very gratifying to meet an industry that recognises Expomin as the most important mining fair in the region, and we want them to know that our efforts are focused on ensuring that everyone has the best possible experience at Espacio Riesco”, says María de los Ángeles Troncoso, the exhibition’s commercial manager.

“We are returning to a venue that has welcomed us for many years and now we must face a series of challenges, ranging from a special and robust transport plan, to concrete actions that mean smoother urban mobility in a more sustainable environment. We have the responsibility to be the perfect showcase for an industry that is going through a key period full of challenges linked to sustainability, the relationship with the community and attracting young talent to face the new challenges”, complements the executive.

With more than 30 years of experience, and consolidated as a strategic showcase for the entire mining value chain, Expomin will celebrate its eighteenth version, ratifying its strategic role and once again being a boost for our economy. In this sense, news about the Congress to be held during the fair will be announced soon.

“We will count on the generous collaboration of the unions, the different companies and the participating countries, with whom we have a very important bond. We overcame obstacles and today we are back to ratify, through our work, why Expomin is so important for all Chileans”, says María de los Ángeles Troncoso, commercial manager of the exhibition.
